WC 2010 Day 7 : Video Highlights

Argentina 4 South Korea 1
the real story, again, was the utter genius of Lionel Messi. Drawing hoards of defenders to him and freeing his teammates, he played an integral part in all four goals and is widening the gap between the Argentina 10 and the rest of the world by the game. Please don't take anything away from Gonzalo Higuain, he proved to be the ultimate poacher in this match. Even with all the attacking talents of Argentina, they still need somebody to finish it off and kill the game. Think of Sapain (vs Switzerland) and you will understand the true value of Higuain's contribution.

Nigeria 1 Greece 2
It has taken 404 minutes of World Cup football, a bizarre red card, a goalkeeping error from the one man you wouldn’t have expect to come from and possibly the biggest deflection in the history of World Cup football but Greece finally have their first ever goal, points and win at the finals. It’s been worth the wait.

France 0 Mexico 2
New Manchester United signing Javier Hernandez inspired Mexico to a superb win over a poor France side, leaving the 2006 World Cup finalists on the brink of early exit. The loss leaves France bottom of Group A with one point and without a goal, while Mexico join Uruguay at the top with four points. A draw between those two in the last game would seal the elimination of France.
