WC 2010 Day 10 : Video Highlights

Italy 1 New Zealand 1
New Zealand hold defending champions Italy to a draw. taly, like England, are not yet out of the World Cup but are taking their time finding their true form. This second successive draw was a result perhaps even more surprising than England's stalemate against Algeria. Italy were rocked when Shane Smeltz gave New Zealand an early lead after 7 minutes but Vincenzo Iaquinta equalised from the penalty spot after 29 minutes. An Azzuri onslaught followed but the All Whites, marshalled superbly by their captain Ryan Nelsen, held firm to produce one of the most surprising results in World Cup history.

Paraguay 2 Slovakia 0
Enrique Vera opened the scoring after 27 minutes and Cristian Riveros settled the match four minutes from time as Paraguay continued their unbeaten run in South Africa.

Brazil 3 Ivory Coast 1
Brazil became the second team (after Holland) through to the Second Round, thanks to a 3-1 win over the Ivory Coast. Two goals from Luis Fabiano (25th, 50th min) and one from Elano (60th min) sealed the win, but the night ended on a sour note as Kaka was shown a controversial red card. Didier Drogba grabbed a consolation goal on 79th minutes.
